Tesla delivered a record number of cars last quarter, beating expectations

Tesla beat assumptions in the second quarter of 2023, declaring Sunday it created almost 480,000 vehicles and conveyed more than 466,000.


Most of creation and conveyances were the Model 3 car and Model Y hybrid, with 460,211 created and 446,915 conveyed. The electric vehicle creator created 19,489 of the more extravagant Model X and Model S and conveyed 19,225.


Dan Ives, an expert at Wedbush Protections, said it was a "prize case quarter" for the organization, adding "Tesla bears," or negative Tesla financial backers, will be sent once more into "hibernation mode."


It was a record for conveyances, however broadly anticipated. Money Road had anticipated around 447,000 conveyances, Ives said.
